We are an evangelical Church of Ireland Parish in the Diocese of Down and Dromore situated on the edge of the river Lagan in the village of Drumbeg just 4 miles from the centre of Belfast. If you want to find us simply plug BT17 9LD into your google maps.

Drumbeg Church of Ireland is set on the edge of rural Lisburn, but really finds itself in an urban village with a good number of its residents working in the greater

There has been a Christian worship site at Drumbeg since 1306, which means the Gospel message has had a place in this community for over 800 years. In 1775 the original Church was destroyed when the spire caught fire and was blown down in a storm. A much larger cruxiform-shaped Church was then rebuilt and consecrated in 1870; one of the first disestablished parish churches to be consecrated in the newly formed Church of Ireland. Since it’s consecration the parish has had nine rectors. The Rev’d Willie Nixon is our present rector and pastor. We also have a good Parish Hall complex on the Drumbeg Road and can offer refreshments every day between 8.30am and 4pm at our COOP Coffee Van and Outdoor Stretch tent found on google maps at this postcode: BT17 9LE. The halls can be rented for family and community activities.

We have as strong team of leaders at Drumbeg Parish who work faithfully alongside the Rector to build a community which seeks to make Christ known in all and for all. We seek the continual renewing of the Holy Spirit in our lives are and believe that in the power of the Holy Spirit we are equipped for the work of making disciples and sending those disciples into the world to be witnesses to his Kingship! Drumbeg Parish likes to see as many members as possible active in ministry.
