Drumbeg Parish has had a long standing relationship with Christian Aid, which began in the 1970’s when the Parish hosted an annual village collection for Christian Aid week each year. This continued up until 2015.

 

In 2015 we started a new initiative in the Parish where we decided a monthly Soup and Cheese lunch would be a good opportunity to support the work of Christian Aid, whilst also providing an opportunity for friendship and fellowship in the Parish.

 

This lunch continues on the first Friday of each month at 12.15-1.30pm in the Parish Hall and has proved a good source of fundraising for Christian Aid.
